Pakistan plans to sell bonds worth USD 1.5 billion

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Government has planned to sell Sukkuk bonds worth USD 500 million to USD 1.5 billion, reported Wednesday.

The government has summoned bids for appointment of financial adviser within 30 days. The government has issued bonds worth USD 4.5 billion out of which sukkuk worth USD 1 billion were issued.

Meanwhile GP Morgan consultants have introduced index of Islamic bonds and Pakistani bonds have been included.
